Glen Abbey Slo-Pitch League Policies
PRIVACY POLICY:
Glen Abbey Slo-Pitch League collects personal information in order to administer the League. The League does not sell or rent this information to any person or organization. Glen Abbey Slo-Pitch League will retain player information to enable us to communicate with registered players from time to time throughout the season.
REFUND POLICY:
A full refund minus a $10 administration fee will be granted to any registered player (in good standing) whose withdrawal is received in writing no later than 2 weeks prior to the start of the season. Any player who withdraws or is terminated from the league during the season, please see the GASPL By-Law, section 4.3.
N.S.F. CHEQUES POLICY:
N.S.F and returned cheques will be subject to a $10 service charge.
ALCOHOL POLICY:
Please note that the Town of Oakville prohibits the consumption of alcohol in and around all public areas. Any player caught consuming alcohol near a ballpark risks the League losing their park license for the year. Do NOT put the League at risk.
JERSEY POLICY:
In the event a team is unable to find a sponsor to cover the cost of jerseys, players from the team will be required to pay an additional fee of no more then $25.00 per player to pay for team jerseys.
REPLACEMENT PLAYER POLICY:
If a team is faced with a permanent roster vacancy due to a player moving, withdrawing, or injury, the League Executive must be notified and a replacement player (of equal or less rating value) will be found from the League waiting list (where possible). A replacement player cannot be added to any roster after August 1, 2010. New players added to a team must sign a registration form and pay a pro-rated registration fee as determined by the League Executive.
